School Education
Our Adopt a School program began with MAI (Moncompu Aandy Iyer) School in Murakkady, Alleppey, Kerala, supporting 25 girls identified by the school administrator each year. We also provide infrastructure support, such as a School bus in 2024 and setting up two smart classrooms in 2025. Over the years, we have been supporting students in Trichur Government Engineering College (with supporting 10 girls identified by the College Alumini), The Chennai Corporation School, Choolaimedu, (by providing infrastructure support for a digital lab), The Koyilpatti Govt school, Madurai (by providing infrastructure support in 2024-25 for new benches and desks and a digital lab set up). We urge you to join us in this noble pursuit.

Often families face social stigma and are confused about whom to approach and how to seek support, for the future and the higher education of their children, especially in the lack of financial security. The bright children most often choose a stream of study based on his/her priority to get a job first to help her family. We at Vidyashakti aim to provide continuous support to the girls right from primary class to graduation until they are employed and independent. Thus we also provide:
- Counselling support to girls and parents
- Communication advancement program for employability.

A few success stories of our stars........
Our impact is best reflected in the stories of the girls we support:
- Beaulah: After her father’s job loss, Beaulah received support during her 2nd PU, allowing her to continue her education and pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.
- Shilpa: A bright student in B.Com First Year, Shilpa received assistance when her father stopped supporting her, enabling her to continue her education and aspire for a career in banking.
- Elsheya: Despite her father’s hospitalization due to COVID-19, Elsheya was able to continue her studies in the Science stream, aiming to become a doctor.
