Here are the 2026-27 updates so far:
Total Amount distributed so far – Rs 6+ lacs to 64 girls: We continue to work with the parents/schools for the distribution of funds and updates
General updates:
A. Our first doctor from Vidya Shakti family – Gomathi has completed M.B.B.S and started working as a doctor in a private hospital. She has also started preparing for the NEET exam to do post-graduation/specialization.
Yogini and Janani started their first job this year after graduation
Shahala, Sreenandhana, Hridya Sagar and Anamika completed engineering and graduated this year.
Till now, 24 girls supported by Vidya Shakti have graduated and are employed.
B. We completed another batch of the Communication Advancement Program (CAP) for the girls who are doing the Physician Assistant course in Chengalpattu Medical College

C. MAI School update
VS scholarship amount distributed to all 20 MAI girls this year – I am sharing with you a few pics of Vidya Shakti scholarship distribution this year.

D. TEC (Trichur Engineering College) update:
From this year onwards, the total number of TEC girls we support has expanded from 10 to 12. VS scholarship amount provided to support the education of 12 girls.
